Evenios
I hear that importing fallout 3 .nifs into other nif programs dont work so well right now is this true with trying to import them into oblivion? say i am trying to import the jefferson memorial using the fallout 3 archive tool on the nexus site. Do i have to have the meshes/textures in a certain folder in the data files or? will it just not work right now :-( any thoughts would help thanks! throttlekitty
It can be done, but is against the EULA, and is illegal.

Its silly for them to frown on importing exporting items into there games IF You own both games. not releasing the game data to the public. just info on how to do so. Circuitous
Because "not releasing the game data to the public" never happens. It's illegal because the license agreement you agree to by installing the game states it.
Evenios
meh still doesnt seem like a big deal. case in point Morroblivion was taken down from a few severs because of that. However the program does NOT include ANY data files from Morrowind. it requres you to have both games installed on your PC and simply extracts data files from Morrowind into your Oblivion directory. that is what i mean. same as importing fallout 3 items. actually also i was just asking from a person view i dont plan to release it online ..just the idea to be able to to mess around with it untill a proper fallout 3 editor comes along ;-)
w0t
Just because it's in a EULA doesn't mean it's legal/illegal. Just look up the sony rootkit scandal.
