NVR. maybe something to do with WNM mod?

oops text is all over the place. sorry about that. first time posting here

yes, i thought it was the ffdshow codec. i`ll try the audio cache fix. i looked in my device manager properties to remove the codec, but it`s not there. also checked WMP options, not there either. tried k-lite codec pack. no change. ffdshow gets stuck in my task bar (lower right), till i mouse-over. thanks for the fast reply

The codec is not a "device". It's software, usually added as part of the "multi-media" software like "Windows Media Player (WMP)". Usually you can add a new codec, but I wouldn't try to remove one provided as part of the basic setup. This article may be of some help.

i checked out that article. i searched my hard drive for all the files for ffdshow and had no results. (after removing K-lite) so i increased iAudioCacheSize=4096. iMaxSizeForCachedSound=512. i also optimized my texture folder with "Ordenador". very little stuttering now. it was the texture folder the whole time.
