taleden Posted October 20, 2012 Share Posted October 20, 2012 (edited) I've just posted a new mod which does something similar to this; it doesn't make Classic exactly like Normal, but it strikes a balance between them without changing anything else (like intercepting Abduction UFOs). It modifies the existing Classic mode so that the aliens can use their full AI, but all of the numeric changes (aim and crit bonuses, funding penalties, etc) are cut in half. It'll be a little harder than Normal, but a little easier than the original Classic. Check it out here: Normal Point FiveComments welcome!-taleden Edit: I posted another similar mod, Normal Point Two, which is closer to what you requested; all of the numeric changes are completely removed (so Classic is just like Normal), but the aliens still get to use their full AI and attack with more than 5 units at a time.
