Importing Heightmaps for custom Worldspace

I am having issues with importing edited Heightmaps for my own worldspaces. I managed to successfully export the worldspace heightmap I had created by hand, but after editing it in Photoshop creationkit crashes as soon as I try to import them.

World is 2x2 square's, which is 4 squares of 1024x1024 pixels. I have the world space in 2 squares, one of these squares has objects in it. I have tried only importing the square without objects and all 4 squares together. I have the tutorial below as background info, but it doesn't say anything about importing.

I took the following steps:

1) Export height maps

2) Open them with Photoshop, draw the area I want using the same colors as the map.

3) save as a .raw, 16-bit and IBM-PC settings on (the settings mentioned on the creationkit site)

4) Place old (unaltered) raws and the new raws named Q1 to Q4 in the Data/HeightField folder

5) Open my mod, select my worldspace. It now shows a blue colored version of the current worldspace.

6) Press import and confirm that I want the raws imported

The creationkit crashes without errors. The creationkit page for heightmaps doesn't mention this problem, only the ones where you use the tools.

I have a decent computer with 4GB memory, Skyrim runs with high settings so I think it should have enough power for this.

Does anyone know a workaround or a fix for this?

Tutorial I use: http://hoddminir.blogspot.nl/2012/02/from-heightmap-to-worldspace-in-skyrim.html

Still can't get it working, I can't edit the heightmaps in the editor because this makes program crash after converting it. Google and searching the forum hasn't given me any answers either. Doing everything by hand will make it harder and almost impossible to create a decent looking landscape.

It looks like no-one seems to know a solution for this, I have kept searching and I can't a single answer for this bug. The bethesda forums don't have any posts on this either, so I am now kind of stuck with modding until I get this solved.

I've updated the main post with some extra details.

You alrdy have the right tutorial on your hands. The question ist, why you did not follow it to the end?

Why didn't you use TESAnnwyn to creat a working .esp?

I managed to import a heightmap just 2 days ago, when i also bothered with it (but then i decided to f*** this heightmapping and just do everythign in the editor), by using TESAnnwyn and directly load my heightmap as an finished esp.

Just never try to use the heightmap-editor from the Ck. Never. NEVER.

Btw:

Perhaps you can ask that guy, who offered me some help, to help you instead ;)

Oh, didn't notice someone replied to the thread.

Thanks for the help, the reason I didn't use TESAnnwyn was that as far as I understand this only works if you create a completely new world without objects in it. I had already created fast area's with forests and a town, so I didn't want to wast that all by resetting all my work.
