phalanoch Posted October 16, 2012 Share Posted October 16, 2012 I noticed there is an issue with the difficulty settings regarding character stats (BalanceMods_Easy, BalanceMods_Normal, BalanceMods_Hard, BalanceMods_Classic) When trying to modify classic mode, I discovered this: There doesn't seem to be a way to modify the starter soldiers HP.Soldiers bought after the start of the game have their HP modified by "BalanceMods_Easy=(eType=eChar_Soldier"Aliens seem to be modified by "BalanceMods_Hard=(eType=eChar" Anyone else can confirm this with me? Keep in mind, where it says Classic in the code, you must read Impossible. Where it says Hard in the code, you must read Classic. Maybe that's where you are going wrong? Adding modifiers to it through ranks seem to not crash it, but I haven't tried to modify mobility beyond 2 points total, as I believe anything above 14 mobility might make the game buggy. Levantinium Posted October 16, 2012 Share Posted October 16, 2012 I think that's a bug that was meant to get fixed by the first patch, but I'm not sure. I modified the balancemod stats to be the same for all four difficulties, as I play on classic all the time.
