llloyd Posted October 16, 2012 Share Posted October 16, 2012 (edited) Seen it done in Knights of the Nine Revelations where you have this chest in the castle, if you drop your loot into it, someone sells it for you, so after a few days you come back and all that's in the chest is gold. Can't think of anywhere else with servants but Skingrad as that house has a servant after you buy the servant quarters upgrade and hire her. Though some of the other houses might be big enough to have servants, but not all. This would be really awesome as it would mean more adventuring and less running around trying to find merchants who can take the expensive stuff your looting. Just come home, drop the stuff in the chest, rest up to level up, and back out to the next quest / Aylid ruin / etc. When you get home there's the value of the items in gold in the chest, grab that, drop more loot, and back out to adventuring. Or even a merchant who has a chest next to him/her and would analyze what you put into the chest and make you an offer for it all, something more accessible in the early parts of the game. I talked to Lanceor, the mod author of the KotN Revelations, said I could post on here and other modders could look at or copy his code. But I'd expect if anyone did they'd contact him to be sure.
