I have had a couple of crashes, that is very understandible but wat i dont get it why FO 3 throws me out from the game.

There is no heat problem with my videocard and i have vista.

Also can someone tell me how to check out the problem list that vista sends of in the net for a sulution to my problems.

Thanks in advance.

I think I have the exact same problem as you.

I'm running the game on this:

MSI GX700E Extreme Edition Laptop

Intel Core 2 Duo T7700 2.4 GHz

2GB RAM

GeForce 8600M GT

250GB Western Digital Hard Disk Drive

32bit Windows Vista Home Premium

Mostly it crashes back to the desktop every hour or two (...sometimes longer though mostly not), but lately it has varied more and even crashed from the loading screen whenever I tried to load a certain quicksave. Once in a very rare while it will appear to crash exactly like any other time and then surprisingly go back to the game and keep working. Twice now it has crashed my entire system rebooting my computer after a couple of moments with black screen but music playing normally, followed by a few more moments with a black screen and the choppy annoying noise you often get with crashing games and then the reboot.

When it crashes to the desktop, the game window is alway visible as a thin strip in the middle of the screen. At this point I have to press Ctrl+Alt+Delete to regain control of my mouse cursor and close down the program for good via the task manager.

It seems like a lot of people on this forum are having this exact problem but nobody is replying to the threads.

Go to start control panel, click on ,classic view, click on,performance information and tools,on the left bottom click on,problem reports and solutions,on the left side of the new window click, see problems to check, check the box for fallout then click check for solutions.
