RJMacready5
This is my first forum post so I apologize for any information that may be missing. I've recently come across a bug in which I have grass and bushes growing in places it should not be. It's in the middle of a paved road, or outside the entrance to inns in a manner that makes it look like they haven't hired a gardener in quite some time. The problem first arose after I re-installed oblivion in an attempt to fix a problem with frames being randomly dropped while moving (also known as the stutter bug). I fixed that problem after coming across the Oblivion Stutter Fixer mod. I'm not sure what I could have done to make this grass bug appear, but it seems to be as a result of the re-installation. I thought it may have been a bad installation, so I once again re-installed, but to no avail. I then assumed it was my save file that was corrupted, so I made another character but the problem persists. I've looked around and can't seem to find anyone else who has had this problem but I'm hoping someone more tech-savvy then I may be able to help. RJMacready5
Okay, I fixed the problem. I re-installed but did 3 things differently this time, so I'm not sure which fixed it. First, I removed everything in the [Documents->My Games->Oblivion folder. Second, I uninstalled Oldblivion, which I forgot to mention I had. Third, I restarted before I re-installed. My gut feeling is that it was something in the oblivion.ini, but I can't be sure. EDIT: After re-installing Oldblivion the problem came back, so apparently that was the culprit. Rather then trying to fix it, I'll just keep it uninstalled. Edited October 17, 2012 by RJMacready5
