Karunavai
Hey guys. i recently uploaded a bunch of underwater releated mods.now i want to use my world and cell creation skills to edit the deep sea of FO4 and Far harbor.adding new locations, enemie encounter, treasures and more.my problem is that i dont want to build accidently outside of the game / world borders (areas which are decorated but we cant reach ingame)the thing is i cant seem to find a way to see the borders in the GECK render window.which makes it mostly impossible to know were i could build and were not.if you guys could help me out...that would be amazing.nevermind. have a nice day. <3 karunavai
DocMoebius
Just press the "B" key to toggle exterior cell boundaries on/off. This will also show the borders of the worldspace(if there are any) as a big red wall.
Karunavai
awesome thank you  works as expected. but i recognized the borders in far harbor are very close to the coast...is there any way to extend them without completely disabeling them? DocMoebius
Go to the World tab > Regions and then select your worldspace, then select the region in the region editor which represents the borders. I would assume in this case probably "DLC03BorderRegion". On the map(zoom out with the mouse wheel) in the region editor at the bottom right you can see all the cells and the border region as a red line now. You can now redraw or alter this line - which is a little bit fiddly. I would be careful though to not exaggerate as bigger borders might require a new pipboy map in certain cases.
