What I have here is a Variant Stormbringer, which in turn must have been based off Brom's Stormbringer. I found this online a couple of years back, not really sure who designed it and can't really remember (could have been from DeviantArt) but I liked it very much- my very favourite version of The Black Blade. Was wondering if anyone skilled in re-texturing greatswords would like to give it a try. I don't really know anything about DAO weapon texturing; a noob suggestion would be to convert Starfang into this, in essence & item properties, but to use Yusaris' texture for base appearance, and then mod from there to the likeliness & colour in the image. Then option to rename it "Stormbringer" (of course!). Notice this type of greatsword drawing is not just long, but generally wider, and broader at the tip and at the hilt. Large red gemstone is reminiscent of the Eye of Thundera socketed into the Sword of Omens. I would very much like to wield this over Starfang any day. *** For those of you unfamiliar with Mournblade's brother, this was Elric's infamous demon-bound runesword, a dimensional blade originally designed to slay an entire pantheon of gods. IMO it is probably the second most popular fictional sword around the world (next to the one starting with 'EX-'). I believe this sword first introduced the 'lifestealer' concept in weapons. You can read more about it in Michael Moorcock's Stormbringer (Elric) saga, which inspired Song of Ice & Fire. I read this when I was a teen 30 years ago. Arioch be with you.
