noodle01 Posted October 25, 2019 Share Posted October 25, 2019 Hi, I've recently started a new playthrough and wiped everything (probably an easier way to do it but I was following advice for new modders).But now when I download files such as SSEedit or Wrye it's installing onto my desktop with an Internet Explorer log, the big blue E. I'm sure it wasn't doing that before. When I click on it (to install the file/extract) I'm getting a pop up box, the top lables the box as 'View Downloads - Internet Explorer and below that it says 'View and track your downloads'under this is what looks like the file and next to it it says, 'do you want to open this file?' There are 2 boxes Open and Save, no matter which one I click on it's like I'm going arounf in a loop! The box just keeps popping back up with an identical file added.I really have no idea what I may have done. I did right click on the explorer logo and extracted the files to desktop, this created a folder on my desktop for Wrye Bash with the installer inside, I think I've managed to download it, but when I tried adding it to my tools on Vortex it through up a few errors.
