Replace Weapon model with no parts?

EDIT: I figured it out and thought I would post the solution here in case anyone else has the same issue. Simply take the files from the mod folder and rename them to be the same as the parts files for the weapon you want to replace, then copy and replace them in there.

Is it possible to replace a vanilla weapon with parts files with a custom weapon with no parts file (I'm using the Aloy bow)?

 

For instance, I am trying to replace the Anja Arch III with the Aloy Bow model. The base bone part changes just fine, but the parts of the Anja Arch stays?

 

I tried deleting the Anja Arch III part files in nativePC but they still show up. I attached a screenshot to show what I am talking about.
