igsnyder
I would love to have a mod for the original MIDI music from X-COM: UFO Defense in Enemy Unknown. Anyone else?
ajane
Yeah, I always like mods like this for classic game sequels.
Xcomic
There is a CD produced by John Broomhall, remastering all the Classic Xcom : Ufo Defense tracks. Really superb work, I hope there may be a way to put them into Geoscape, Battle and so on overtop defaults. Bring back that classic sinister vibe rather than the more action movie pace currently. I like how Discogs categorises it as 'Ambient', something we associate with Cafe Del Mar haha. Xcom soundtrack definitely does not chill me out. - XC
EarX
Hell yeh. This new war epic music doesn't work for me at all. I don't want to feel like I'm in a Battle Los Angeles movie.. Edited November 3, 2012 by EarX
Xcomic
EarX, that hit the nail on the head for me - it does sound like Battle : LA. :D Have been listening to the tracks again (remastered originals) and "Debriefing" has an almost Vangelis vibe to it (think BladeRunner The Movie). - XC
