I've tried to play the game on "Normal", but I'm using this mod:http://xcom.nexusmods.com/mods/5which I'm thoroughly enjoying. The only problem I have is that I can't beat the game... Now, I'm a fairly experienced gamer, but I can't keep the panic level down. I ruthlessly sell all my stuff so I can buy satellites (detect and kill UFO:s so I can reduce panic), but after two months, at least one country has left the council. Another month and at least two more has left and I'm stuck because I can't buy enough satellites. Basically, I think that perhaps the "marathon mode" is broken, which is suggested in this mod:http://xcom.nexusmods.com/mods/7 Does anyone concur, or do I just suck? Do I really need to skip the "second wave" options and the rebalancing mod, despite that I LOVE to play the game with those? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
