TheSentinelSuperSpy Posted October 17, 2012 Share Posted October 17, 2012 Hello everyone, I have a quick question for the modders: Is it possible to rearm a trap that has been already activated once ? I'm referring more specifically to a pitching machine trap. This has 2 reasons: Firstly, I would like to rearm the machine at Gold Ribbon Grocer's because I deactivated it (the machine, not the pressure plate) without setting off the trap itself and now I can't get the items you're supposed to get after the large explosion.Secondly, I'm using the Workbench and Crafting extended mod and I can't get one of the schematics (namely the Steam Cannon) without disarming one of these (and seemingly I disarmed pretty much all of them).Now, I must admit that I'm a total noob and I know that this requires a script to work. I looked at the pitching machine's script in GECK and as far as I understood, I somehow need to make the script reset after running once, or have the player reset the trap by resetting the IsArmed and IsFiring variables as well as resetting the ballcount to a positi ve number (if I understood correctly, these are the key variables which mostly control the trap). Basically I would like to reset an ingame trap to be armed once more and ready to be set off, if that's possible.Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance !
