sausje
Hello, I tryed some tweaks from the tweakguide here on nexus. Now those settings have been changed but it appears that the game isnt using them at all. Example: i removed the borderlimit from the ini, but i still cant walk pass the border :wallbash: With textures i got the same problem, i putted them into data/textures, but it seems that fo3 isnt using them either  Can anyone help/explain to me what i have done wrong here? Thanks in advance, SauS
thefinalconflict
Make sure to update your ArchiveInvalidation.txt in your Fallout3 folder.
sausje
Make sure to update your ArchiveInvalidation.txt in your Fallout3 folder. Im pretty sure that the ArchiveInvalidation.txt doesnt affect the .ini used in the My Games/Fallout 3 folder.
october21
It doesn't necessarily affect the .ini, but it does affect which textures you will see in-game. Of course, the easiest thing to do is to use ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated!, which will handle all of that for you. Then you won't have to bother with AI.txt entries anymore. As far as the other problems go, there are two different .ini's in that folder, Fallout.ini and FalloutPrefs.ini, some changes only apply to one .ini, or the other. Make sure you're making the changes to the right one, and that you're saving them correctly. I don't mean to patronize, but we've all made silly mistakes before, amirite? Bottom line: Make sure bInvalidateOlderFiles =0 is changed to =1, and get ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated! Good luck =)
