mandosrex
Hello everyone.First time posting here, I cannot seem to find a mod for a thing and I started wondering if such a mod even exists but it must exist because I can't be the only one that doesn't like it.So you know when you melee attack, your camera movement gets slowed down and restricted a lot? I find it really annoying and it's one of the main reasons I mostly played with ranged attacks. However, I want to play melee as well now.So is there any mod that removes that camera restriction when attacking? I have found mods for the opposite thing, to lock the camera even more, but none to keep it as it is when you move. There has to be a mod out there right? I can't be the only one that doesn't like how vanilla is. Thank you.
Deleted64927026User
No clue what youre talking about but as for 3rd person camera, Id suggest using those:https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/18515 https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/12201 Perhaps I dont know what youre talking about because one of them already fixes your issue *shrug Edited October 27, 2019 by Guest
mandosrex
Thank you. However I want something for first person. To see what I'm talking about just go in first person, swing your sword and then quickly move your mouse left and right. You will see that camera movement is significantly slowed down when attacking which I find very off-putting. Realistic maybe but not fun at all. I want more a fluid camera during combat. Deleted64927026User
Im still having issues understanding what you meanI tried it with my usual (rather low) sensitivity and a pretty high one but couldnt see any slowdown in camera movement But then again, Im not using the vanilla first person camera. Im using net script's IPFVhttps://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/21294?tab=descriptionYou need to scroll through the comment section to find the version thats working with V1.5.8, the one on the download page is outdated. IPFV uses a modified 3rd person camera, so perhaps that fixes your problem. Alternatively theres also Improved Camera Beta 1: https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/aorqpj/mod_improved_camera_beta_1/Beta 3/4: https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/cae3x2/mod_improved_camera_beta_3/This one just alters the first person camera I used both of them and dont remember any issues with camera movement. Theyre both just an SKSE plugin, so no additional .esp I dont know of any 1st person camera overhauls that are about "making 1st person more fluid" so thats all I can offer (and my pardon for the late answer) Edited November 5, 2019 by Guest
forskyrimmods
There's no mod I know of that do that, for most people it would just make the game far to easy. There are a few mods that do the opposite though.
realprometheusx
Really sad that no mod's done this yet. There are so many that do the opposite, some people love having zero control of their actions I guess lmfao.
verinen3
I'm with ya, bro. the "dark souls combat" tryhard mods are nothing more than binding your right hand behind your back and calling it a difficulty increase. In conjunction with this clunky engine it feels like swimming in jelly. Anyway, I found some solutions. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/40309?tab=files https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/3568 https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/28398 https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/3047 ^ Combination of these gives the most control over your actions in combat, imo. It's still not perfect (well, how could it be in this engine...), but much more enjoyable overall.
