watdocdude
Maybe another improper installation...?
Khet
Highly unlikely. All dialogue is handled through the esp itself, so as long as that's in the right place it should work. Infact, you COULD make an esp to remove all dialogue from the game and that's all that would be needed, is that one esp file. Check the mod comments to see if anyone else have been having trouble with the mod version. Sometimes on version would work better than an older one if the mod-maker was a bit hasty with something in the newest version.
watdocdude
I hate going through all this trouble with mods. I'm gonna start making my own again soon.
myrmaad
Ah, now there's a question I can't answer. Don't know why the dialogue options wouldn't be appearing. Link to the mod you downloaded please. And to be clear, it's not just the sound of the dialogue that is missing, you're saying that the dialogue options are not coming up, when you try to activate the NPC, is that correct? And which NPC(s) exactly, have you tried activating? Are you activating them in sneak mode? Otherwise you won't get the menu. "To access the Quick Menu, go into sneak mode, place your cursor on the one you want to interact with, and hit the space bar. NPCs also have an extensive dialogue command system including commands that the entire party will obey."
watdocdude
http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=7819That's the one I'm having trouble with.I haven't tried activating them in sneak mode, but I assumed the would have some sort of "Recruit" dialogue or something. No recruit dialog, nothing at all but crosshairs I think, unless you go into sneak mode first. That's one I use. I do use Companion Share Recruit by Toastie, as well, and with that a regular NPC will give you a recruit dialogue IF they have a rumors option in their AI setup. Trust me, for the one you linked you have to sneak. Maybe take another look at the readme. ;)

It has to be a character added by the mod. I'm trying to figure out how you know that the CM Partner-added characters don't work? Have you tried sneak mode activating with ones that were added by the mod, they will include a couple of goblins at the waterfront, a skeleton at the cometary outside whitegold tower.. ALSO:Did you install the Shivering Isles edition? Do you have OBSE? and can I see your mod list? If not you've got to check for sure and tell me which CM partners mods you have (esm and esp).
