Avicularia
Found a fix that reduced my ctd and freeze to almost zero. Here it is: if you are a Creative card owner on Windows 7 do this: Go into Windows Control Panel klick on sound , klick on Soundblaster tab make sure X-fi cmss-3d could be read in the box , if not download a Creative fix for that. Then klick settings , now Creatives Audio control panel shows up, Klick on X-fi Cmss-3d , enable X-fi cmss-3d should be ticked, Now below klick on X-fi Cmss-3d Virtual, Now here is the fix:In the next window that reads X-fi cmss-3d Virtual turn of both MacroFx and Elevationfilter. DONE! Hopefully you should now have a louder and ctd & freeze free game? My self have only got one near falkreath i think its a mod script left over. other then that i have tried out my ctd saves whithout crashes ex: running around riften lake was now a crash free journey. Little more info from a helpfile:Enabling virtual surround with X-Fi CMSS-3DIf you are using stereo speakers or headphones, you can use X-Fi CMSS-3D Headphone or X-Fi CMSS-3D Virtual to generate a virtual surround effect during playback. In Entertainment ModeClick the X-Fi CMSS-3D tab. Depending on your operating system and audio device, either: Click the Enable X-Fi CMSS-3D check box to select it. OR Click the X-Fi CMSS-3D Headphone or X-Fi CMSS-3D Virtual check box to select it. Click the Virtual button to adjust or test the X-Fi CMSS-3D Virtual enhancement. X-Fi CMSS-3D Virtual expands stereo sound to multichannel surround sound. Click the Headphone button to adjust or test the X-Fi CMSS-3D Headphone enhancement. X-Fi CMSS-3D Headphone downmixes multichannel content for headphones. Drag the Stereo Envelopment slider up or down to adjust the surround balance between front speakers and surround speakers for two-channel sources. For the most compelling surround effect, drag the slider to its middle position. In Game ModeClick the X-Fi CMSS-3D tab. Depending on your operating system and audio device, either: Select the Enable X-Fi CMSS-3D check box. OR Select the X-Fi CMSS-3D Headphone or X-Fi CMSS-3D Virtual check box. Click the Virtual button to adjust or test the X-Fi CMSS-3D Virtual enhancement. X-Fi CMSS-3D Virtual expands stereo sound to multichannel surround sound. Click the Headphone button to adjust or test the X-Fi CMSS-3D Headphone enhancement. X-Fi CMSS-3D Headphone downmixes multichannel content for headphones. In the ElevationFilter and MacroFX lists, select the On or Auto option. Turning on the ElevationFilter effect enables the Elevation Filter for all game sounds located above or below the listener's horizontal plane. The ElevationFilter effect is useful, for instance, in "first-person" 3D games. Turning on MacroFX (near-field effects) reproduces proximity cues for 3D sound sources located within a distance of one meter (3 feet) from the listener. When Auto is selected, the ElevationFilter and MacroFX effects are controlled for each individual 3D sound source by the game application. Notes X-Fi CMSS-3D Headphone and X-Fi CMSS-3D Virtual are enabled by default. Some choices only apply to specific audio devices. Some choices may vary, depending on your audio device. The next mods i should try now is:Realistic wild lifeBirds of skyrimSounds of Skyrim I belive they would run well now? andMaybe this fix will help ohter games to? Hope this will help somepeople with freezes and ctd (crashes).Thats all from now.
