tavtav
Ok, so it's my understanding that even if you have textures in the correct locations, they will not be used until you both adjust your fallout.ini file as well as add their paths to the archiveinvalidation.txt. Am I wrong here? I've been working on a texture mod for power armor (yes, yet another one will hopefully be out there soon!) and I've been having issues. First, I was able to get it working for the outcast power armor and not the regular kind. I said no problem, I'll just move the shoulder decals to the decal texture. For some reason the texture didn't change. So I decided to go play the game without that mod this evening, and removed the power armor files from my archiveinvalidation.txt before loading up. Textures are still on the models. What's happening? I'm sure I'm making a mistake, but I checked everything thoroughly on all the instances above where textures simply weren't working, despite everything being done properly as far as I could tell. Switching from outcast to regular armor should be only a matter of changing the texture file names and adjusting the invalidations, right? I was thinking maybe the game buffers older versions of the invalidation and there is something you need to do manually for it to update maybe? Sorry, just a bit miffed, and any help would be appreciated. :) Oh, here's a pic of the texture if anyone's interested: http://img249.imageshack.us/img249/9762/armypaun1.jpg
