Currently effective Gun ranges are very close the the 'max' run range of a double moving troop. I would like to see more of a tactical flanking and fire suppression game. I feel reduction of close to 50% of the current values would get into the right ballpark. Aliens might be a bit faster than humans if it seems to mess with their AI about cover and movement. Other things could effect movement to make heavier armors have an negative effect, heavier guns ect ect... This could make a mix of equipment choices become desirable for the role of soldier. I suppose a increase of LOS/max weapon range could have the desired effect, Long range fire doesn't tend to be accurate. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
