Triforce1
That's awesome and ridiculous at the same time. But I agree, a little more background would be nice for the person who decided to take up this giant cat-armor mantle.
cryingman
yes,its a live japanese sfx series im currently raving about. The weapon and armor concept of this series are pure awesomeness! As for the background info, heres a wiki thread.Visit My Website Where there is light, shadows lurk and fear reigns... yet by the blade of Knights, mankind was given hope..."—Ward Sexton GARO focuses on the life of Kouga Saejima, who assumed the title of Makai Knight to protect humanity against dark demonic manifestations called "Horrors." In his quest to purge them, he encounters a young girl named Kaoru whom he saved from a Horror, but was stained with its demonic blood. As a rule, those that been stained by the blood of a Horror shall be cut down, or else they will die painfully in approximately 100 days. Kouga had mercy upon her and tries to find a way to purify her before her remaining time expires. Thus, the series focuses on Kouga's developing relationship with Kaoru and his stand in protecting humanity after the wishes of his father, who was his predecessor with the title of GARO. cryingman
what I love on this series is how the way they transform. They summon their armor by conjuring a magic gate from the madou world summoning the armor in the process. A question. Is there a mod in oblivion where u can summon your custom armor as a spell?I love to transform in a middle of the fight without toggleing the menu key.I think its doable because the mythic dawn armor spell done just that.Is there some way to achieve this in OBSE? Kresselack
When you mentioned "GARO" I thought you were talking about the ninja warriors from The Legend of Zelda. These armours look interesting, but their "plastic" appearance makes it look cheesy like Power Rangers. Atleast they arent as rediculous as those young actors in leather pants. I suppose if we give the armour a metallic texture, it would look much less like plastic, and definately less tacky.
Triforce1
Hehe, I didn't know what people would say. I too immediately thought of the Garo from Majora's Mask. However, their armor would've been interesting to pull off. But I'm in complete agreement with Kresselack; get rid of the Power Rangers look with some decided metalwork, and you've got some cool armor. But if you could see the series, you will really see the metallic texture you're looking for.Maybe i'll try to grab pics from the series footages.I think it will be a good reference texture to model. The actors garb is a good reference for a mod to,if I may commend...
