KorrMuraan Posted October 19, 2012 Share Posted October 19, 2012 Seems to have been overlooked by the devs that a mind controlled alien that dies should cause Will loss and potentially panic among the squad. Another idea is to modify the Mind Control power itself to damage/kill the MC'd alien on relinquishing control, or less game changing, just make them lose their turn so they can't immediately turn and shoot the squad. For now we can look into the scripts and identify exactly how panic is handled but we can't modify it yet.That is actually something I expect the devs themselves to fix, because the way it works now is just wrong. At least if I prepare for the release of control by placing my soldiers in overwatch, they should be able to shoot before the critter does. Or shoot at all, actually.
