tclems44
Remember the grand father of RPGs?D&D?If you have ever played it or something like it you remember "material components" required to cast a spell.A lot of attacks in skyrim require charges or ammo or something but the mages can blast all day long withoutblinking an eye, so why not just have a spell require an "ingredients" as a spell component?Ingredients are very plentiful in skyrim so it wouldn't really affect the game in a distracting way, but would bejust enough to feel like it cost you a little something to cast your spells. And the more powerful the spell themore rare ingredient it would require to cast it.This would even make shopping a bit more fun especially at higher levels where ingredient and money are really easyto come by. This would also make ingredients feel more relevant than merely for potions. This mod would require figuring out which ingredient would go best with which spell, the higher level the spell therarer the ingredient and it would eventually require some compatibility patches with some of the more popular spellmods, e.g. apocalypse.Anyway, what does everything? Simple but immersive right? Edited October 30, 2019 by tclems44
TheIronChicken
This mod has just been released and while it's not exactly what you asked for it's along the same lines:Catalytic Spellcastinghttps://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/30070/
Punisherx7
This mod has just been released and while it's not exactly what you asked for it's along the same lines: Catalytic Spellcastinghttps://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/30070/That mod sounds interesting but i would still love it if someone implemented what i am suggesting lol. Sorry i just played all the hard core pen and paper RPGS in the 80s and think i would be cool to replicate some of it but through the awesome world of skyrim. :)
