chosen_silver
I want to enchant an excuisite amulet to be open 100-100 for locks. I own the spell to open level 50 locks. Do i have to have a spell that is able to open 100 level locks before i will be able to enchant my amulet? I have tried it many times, but the enchant keeps failing, and it says that the gem was destroyed. I have reloaded many times, but it fails every time. My enchant is level 49, and i am using a greater soul gem with a flam atronarch trapped. please help!
Maquissar
You don't need to have a 100 points lock-opener spell to make an amulet like the one you mentioned. I think that the main problem lies in your enchant level, or your intelligence, being too low for that sort of enchantment. You may try building up your skills before trying again, or - but I'd suggest using the former method - drinking many fortify intelligence potions in a row to raise your chances of enchanting successfully. I think that is all, it's been a while since I last played... *starts whipping himself to expiate*
chosen_silver
even if i drink a bunch of fortify intelligence, my enchant will still be at the same level though...
Dijas
You won't enchant the item in this situation. An advice: spend some money buying the enchatment from the enchanter, do the Azura Quest and spend your time improving your enchantment skill.Your enchant level is very low, probably your luck too. One more thing, you should always check the cast cost and the charge of the item.
chosen_silver
What is a good enchantment level for doing these sorts of things?
mcstreet
you need high mysticism, enchant, inteligence and luck...but to be honest its gona take a long time to do..u'd for now be better of making it at an enchanters and spending a little money on it.i think the most it will cost is about 40,000 drakes.shouldn't be any more than that.i did it with an exqisite shirt but i cant remember the exact price. have fun!!! cmac
Hehehe...no. You need high Intelligence to perform highpowered Enchantments. Luck and Mystricism are irrelevant. By raising your Enchant skill, your Intelligence recieves a possible raise when you next level up.
Dijas
Is Luck irrelevant? I always thought that luck was a decent help for enchanting, not to mention Intelligence and Enchant, who are undoubtly the most important. But when I could, I took a potion of Fortify Luck and Fortify Inntelligence before enchanting something. Believe me I thought Luck was relevant. Stormscape
I remember a loophole in non-patch orginal Morrowind for making obscene amount of money by making Fortify Intelligence potions, drinking the first 20 you make, then making 40 more, drinking 20, making 40 again, drinking 20, then selling them for huge amountso f money over time to mubcrab. MDH Weaponeer
My guy is a level 61 breton. His enchant skill is at 170 and he has an amulet that fortifies his enchant 100 points for eight seconds. He uses the amulet then tries to enchant. I made a ring that did 50 points fire damage. And what happened? It failed. Is there a patch out there that makes it at least 20% easier to enchant things?... And where's that master enchant trainer? The stupid "master trainers" site doesn't seem to exist anymore.
