Marny
How about something like this, for the Khajiit? I was trying for something realistic, cub-like (mountain lions seem to have the most facial features in common with the Khajiit), but keeping with the unexagerated art style of the game. The profile shot seems a bit weird... but then, every time I look at my adult Khajiit references, their profile shot looks pretty weird, too. http://i1235.photobucket.com/albums/ff432/ElizaWy/Skyrim%20Creation%20Kit/3dRef_KhajiitBoy.jpg I make these references prior to building the 3d model (this one's the male). I figure I'll make the bodies as modifications of the existing child-meshes, so they can all wear the same clothes. With tails, for these guys, of course. :) Let me know what you guys think! Wow, not half bad! I'd say the back of the head bulges out a bit much, but solid work! Edited October 27, 2012 by Marny
ElizaW
That can be fixed. :) Less bulging in general, or round the curve out more?
Marny
That can be fixed. :) Less bulging in general, or round the curve out more? Less bulging in general. I just fiddled with the racial menu in-game, and it looks like they're just a bit...flatter in general back there, I guess? http://i.imgur.com/drqdQ.jpg I also don't know how to put it as I'm no head-model-ologist, but the face structure in general seems a bit...off. A friend pointed out that the muzzle was a bit too protrusive, so I did more experimentation. http://i.imgur.com/YYNvg.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/jdDIG.jpg Cat faces are weird! Hope this helps.
