DeepDruid Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 Can anyone please help me get the console to work? Every time I try to use it it freezes things up. What could be causing this issue? I am trying to use the Add Mhairi MOD.
Thandal Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 Make a Desktop Shortcut: "C:\Program Files\Dragon Age\bin_ship\daorigins.exe" -enabledeveloperconsole If you're running 64-bit Windows, then: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Dragon Age\bin_ship\daorigins.exe" -enabledeveloperconsole If you've done that correctly, when you hit the activation key, (usually [ ` ] or [ ~ ]) the game will "freeze": you can't select or move any character. At that point the Console is waiting for you to type a valid command and hit "Enter". Unless you've also installed "Make Console Commands Visible", you won't see anything on screen to indicate what you've typed. Either the command will work, or it won't. :tongue: In any case, after you hit "Enter", the Console de-activates itself.
