Should I start modding SSE instead of Normal skyrim?

I was planning on playing skyrim again but then i saw that nexus had changed their mod manager. So to avoid any instabilities I was going to reintall all my mods and reintall skyrim.
So I was wondering if its worth downloading and mod SSE instead of vanila. what are the advantages and disadvantages of SSE?

so far i can tell SSE is 64 bit and its more stable

i run my self so almost 300 mods and and stile its very stable

 

downside sse have less mods then oldrim

and some moders dont wanna put mods in sse also so some mods you will never see ad sse

I encourage you to mod in SSE:

• it's easier to port oldrim to newrim than it is the other way around
• mods are often ported for you by other members of the community
• some newer stuff can only be used with SSE
• 64bit means that the game takes advantage of your computer's hardware more

I'm not sure what the trade offs are, it's been a while since I've played oldrim, so you should ask around the nexus forums for oldrim to get their opinion too.

The main benefit is greatly increased stability. You no longer have to use mods to increase your memory size or to keep the game stable. The secondary advantage is that it looks better right out of the box.
