dinin2101 Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 Hi everyone, I been trying out the game and does anyone find the soldiers rank up too fast.I love the promotion perks really gives some in depth character developement.. Please oh please is there a mod or a miracle modder out there that could tweak the perks to be:1. Expand the ranks ( Too many Majors and Colonels in one mission...unbelieveable)2. Add some more perks for the new ranks.3. Maybe could also include some resistant perks (e.g Psi attacks or poisons resistance)for each class of soldiers.4.More Aliens types.. Just wanted to let you guys know.Will wait anxiously for this mod...Overall the game is excellent...thanks
Gazzzz Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 One useful change I would suggest: Switch the sniper skills of squaddie and corporal rank.The squaddie then gets to choose between squad sight and snap shot and the sniper rifle is not a handicap to the sniper.

I saw a mention of a skill tree in one of the post.I would not prefer to go into that indepth ...like diablo 3 thats way too deep I would prefer a tweak to add more sub ranks like Lance Corporal ,Sergeant Major just to expand the promotion perks system...Its really gives a sense of character developement and when that soldier gets wasted...arghhh!!!Really hope there is a genius out there who could make such a mod...cross my fingers...
