irfanahmed1979
Since the release of the editing tools can we now: 1. Change how NPCs greet the player? I mean what they say to the player at the start of the dialogue? 2. Can we make changes to main storyline dialogues and cutscenes?
WarhorseStudios
ad 1. yes you can. These greetings are found in Skald under SITUATIONS >> GREETINGS AND PARTINGS. You can add new ones, you can change the conditions (even disable them that way). Whatever you like.ad 2. yes you can. You can change any dialog as mentioned in the previous point. You should encounter no problems if you add new dialog responses or new options to the decision points. You will run into some challenges if you attempt to edit a response, that is already voiced. And as per cutscenes: They are made in the standard CryEngine's TrackView tool. You can edit any part of them, provided you know what you are doing. You can't change prerendered cutscenes, of course, because they are videos. You'd have to re-record them.
