Kingdom Come editor process

New to Kingdom,

 

I see that they give the editor for free,

 

but : for the installation I need to do this

 

Extract the contents of the zip you just downloaded and move it all into the game directory "steam\steamapps\common\KingdomComeDeliverance"

 

 

that means I need to buy the game first ?

 

Or can I mod using the Cryengine editor ,

 

When I executed the editor.exe

got an Error : CrySystem.dll can't be loaded

 

I need to buy the game ??

Yes of course you need to buy the game... I wonder why you expected you didn't? How would you even test your mods?

The editor has the tools, but the actual game files don't ship with the game
