aegnor81
Hi,I notice that everytime I fire up fallout the .esp files in the data files tab are unticked, once ticked they work fine, but it can be a bit tedious and i often forget to. This happens everytime i fire it up, does anyone else have this? Is there any kind of fix or workaround? Cheers :)

mod1fied
I guess as long as the mod files are showing up in that text file they will be launched. If you click on Data Files it unticks them so I guess just don't use that part of the launcher and it wont stop the mods loading?

vegeta0585
Zarkon, thats what I keep hearing, but that doesnt seem to be the case. I just got the Fallout 3 better pace mod, and when i check it on data files it wouldnt stay. So I went and added the filename to my plugins.txt, and started back up. no change, still 5xp per mole rat, 15xp per raider....
Zarkon
Strange,i'm using similar mod (Slower leveling-Slow Leveling.esp) and it works fine this way. Check if you have esp file in your Fallout3\Data folder and if you have written that mod in plugins.txt correctly (and sorted alphabetically just in case). If everything is okay, warning message should appear at the first time when loading your save game.
100rads
Do not sort it alphabetically! The order that the plugins are in is the order that they will be loaded!
musashi22
Im having the same exact problem! I double click the launcher, go to Data, and all my boxes are unchecked... but when I check all friggin 27 of them and play, it works just fine.. but once I exit Fallout, I have to do the same thing again. Is there ANY solution besides FOMM? I dont know what else to do about this.. Does anyone have the same problem? I have Vista btw. msn - [email protected]aim- smlkurby ( for fast replying me.. thanks!!)

I have Vista btw. msn - [email protected]aim- smlkurby ( for fast replying me.. thanks!!) Unfortunately the whole thing is borked. People say that they don't need to be rechecked as long as they are in the plugin.txt. In my experience this is not the case. They do need to be rechecked every time which is a pain. FOMM is the easiest and quickest way around this.
