swiftfoxmark2
Anyone else notice that BOSS is detecting dirty edits now? It found some on mods, such Babette.esp and Circlet With Hoods.esp. I ran the TES5Edit fix it recommended on those. The thing is, it also found them in Update.esm, Dawnguard.esm, and HearthFires.esm. I did not clean those up since those are core Bethesda files. Any ideas on this?

swiftfoxmark2
Interesting. I went ahead and ran the clean up on those files, after making my own back up of all the Main and DLC ESMs and BSAs (probably should have done that anyway). So far, nothing out of the ordinary. OakRain
I ran the cleaning a couple of days ago on Update,DG and HF.esms and I am finding the game a lot more stable as a result. As soon as Dawnguard was installed shortly after release I had been getting many instances of crash upon load - since cleaning I have not had a single crash.I do run a limited list of mods and thankfully the ones I have show either no errors or minimal errors in TES5Edit. One thing to bear in mind if using TES5Edit is that the cleaning may have to be repeated after verifying cache integrity with Steam - as Steam will automatically download the 'dirty' versions of Update,DG and HF.esms. UgTheViking
Hey there-Having the same issue, however I must be doing something wrong using the TES5Edit . I follow the tutorial but when I right click to 'add filter for cleaning' that option is not there. It says add filter but that's it. Clueless.
