Skill points, alien corpses and permanent grid

Hello guys,

so from the beginning I would like to say sorry for my not much good English that cause I maybe writing about things which are already mentioned in other topics. I saw few topics similar to mine, but Im just not sure if they are related with this...

Alien corpses after UFO crash

I really missing alien corpses when I start mission on map of crashed UFO. This is simply not logical, UFO is crashed, many things are shuttered around and burning. How is it possible that there is no alien already dead? I dont want any items or lootable things, just need to see dead alien bodies :) Old XCOMs had this.

Pernament movement grid

Lines of movement are simply... disgusting. I would like to permanently enable only grid squares of movement in settings.

Advanced skills for soldiers

I played the game only for couple of hours, so maybe I just miss it, but it seems that soldiers of each class are always the same. Mean they have always same skills (like Will and Aim). I would like to manage their skills more. The settings should be designed equal to "Customize" settings (arrows, numbers). But I know this is hard interface and game functionality derogation. I just want to have each soldier unique. Of course it will be really great if I can make for example my own "Support" man without to be generated automatically by game...

And one more thing... money

Our planet simply really need to be attacked by some aliens, because according this game everything will be cheap! You can buy satellite and launch it to the universe only for $60, hire soldiers for $10 only once without any other rent for them. Be attacked by unknown race seems to be paradise on Earth. Where I can buy my own SHIV for few dollars in Europe please? :)

Thanks for replies

I believe I have the answer to that one. It takes several minutes, if not an hour to reach the UFO in the skyranger after it has been shot down. As you know from experience, alien bodies dissapear a round or two after being killed. All the bodies have long since poofed by the time your men arrive.

Aha, but this doesn't make sence to me. You are right, I haven't noticed that before, but still this is only "graphical" issue or no? Because when you finish the mission your men take all corpses and ship them to laboratory for research. After all missions I have all bodies which were killed by gun or stunned... so they don't dissapear really... The way how to show them is than simple :D We need only disable the "graphical" issue and after that we can see all dead bodies? Edited by Yiahimyr

I wouldn't want to be able to change their skills myself. I like to enable the Second Wave option "Not created equal" though, it makes rookies starting skills random. I also enable the "Hidden potential" since it makes the skill raises random on level up.

Those "dollars" are of course just a representation of general cost compared to income. Its not really 60$ for a sattelite, but would you really rather want to add a lot of zeroes behind that number just to make it "look right"?

If so, you can easily do this yourself by using the modpatcher. But i personally find it a bit silly.... you would have to start putting millions of dollars as income and it would still work out the same way in the end... only you would have a lot of zeroes behind every number...

Just look at it as "thousands of dollars" instead of a single dollar for each $.
