How to make an esp, without the official editor?

I notice it didn't take long for the mods to start flowing even without the official editor, YAY! :thanks:

 

I have used the CS, but not sure how this being done, are you guys using the oblvion CS, how can I get started?

Do I just need to unpack my files or can the CS just work as it did with oblivion or with some small modifications?

 

Or maybe a linky to some FAQ?
