LE Improved SpellSword Mechanics

I need a mod that improves the game mechanics when weilding spells in one hand and a weapon in the other.

I have recently started playing a SpellSword character thanks to Apocalypse Magic of Skyrim, and I am quite enjoying the new spells. It's really made playing a spellsword more fun and intriguing.

 

I use a combination of casing in one hand, and 1h weapons in the other. While I'm liking the play style, I have some serious gripes about how these work together.

 

It seems that the glory of Todd Howard thought it was pertinent to make it so only one animation can be executed at a time, and to not make animations for things like jumping and attacking at the same time.

 

However my issue goes much deeper than that. I feel so limited in combat because I cannot combine movement, casting, and melee attacks dynamically.

 

For instance:

 

• if I am casting Flames while trying to attack with my sword, I cannot move while swinging. I have to get really close, and just stand there, to do both.
  
• If I am casting Firebolt, and I try to initiate an attack with my sword, and release fire bolt simultaneously, the firebolt does nothing. Just vanishes, and wastes my mana.
  
• If I power attack with my sword while holding down either spell, the spell is cancelled.
  
• This also all happens when trying to use a ward, making it really difficult to actually make good use of them.

I'd really like to be able to move freely while casting, and swinging my sword. I know there are a few mods that will allow me to attack while jumping, which would help, but it does not sound like they will address the other issues I have with dual-wielding spells and 1h weapons.

 

Does anyone know of a mod that will help me here? Or would anyone have the experience necessary to make one? I have no experience modding, so I'm not sure if what I'm asking is even possible. But if anyone can point me in the right direction here, I would greatly appreciate it.
