TheLonePhantom
I have to say as a thief I am seriously disappointed at the amount of complex thefts available in Skyrim. Remember in Oblivion when you had the secret passage ways that took you from the cellar to the bedrooms in the castles? What if there were some really elaborate targets in Skyrim? Not just sneaking past the one guard into the Jarl's bedroom. Really elaborate heists that would have you pickpocket a key just so you could get into a room to pick the master lock into the sewer so climb through a nest of skeever, up a ladder climbing up into some scaffolding jumping quickly, etc etc etc.
hadoumastery
Yeah, they kinda skimp on most stealth base in TES games. Don't know why. Although at least they made a sneak-kill animation for most weapons.
RaktoastTheSandwichTopper
if no one has done this i might have a go at it what places did you have in mind? Edited October 22, 2012 by StuartSmiles
RozenDoll
Yet another department Skyrim is disappointingly lacking in :3Even sneaking into that dunmer house (dont want to spoil) was a ridiculous "stealth mission". Would be interesting if places looked a bit more in-depth, with actual rooms, wings and corridors; as well as secret passages in the big buildings. LukeH
In Skyrim those jobs are handled by the story manager and pick (pseudo) random targets so getting what you asked for would involve a lot of cell edit.I'm interested in the thievery mods...you can check my Localized Thieves Guild Jobs for more targets and more complexity with the timed missions. But you just gave me an idea....I will try to create a mod that will make every door/container that has a key somewhere in the world (or at an NPC) to require that key to be opened. I think/hope is doable. I will add keys for those boxes for heist jobs if they don't have it already. This would make those thievery jobs more complex with a generic change, not map edits. Breaking in a locked house at night will require you got the key from the NPC sometime during the day for example.
