BobSob2020 Posted November 13, 2008 Share Posted November 13, 2008 ok 1 feature at the time lets start by the first one...collecting items -to make it simple, why not give the player a menu where he could preset what items the sprite would collect this menu would include the choice of collecting more then one type of item using tick menu !- weapons (alls type)- magic weapons (alls type)- armors (all types)- magic armors (alls type)- clothes (alls type)- magic clothes (alls type)- potions (poisons and potions)- ingredients (alls type includind creatures remain)- alchemy aparels (pestal and mortar ext)- stones and gems (ruby and weylked stone, varla stone, soul gems, gold and silver nuggets)- lock pick- books (all type or only skill book)- magic scrolls (alls type)so whit this features we would be able to click what we want him to collect ! bob remind me if theres something that we discuss that i forget ! EDIT : woh, scatch that... it would make no cense, he's not hercule...he would be "full" all the time...so let keep our first idea ingredients and lockpicks ! maybe varla stone...lol yeah, it make sence now ! Well, actually, for starters it would be easiest to make it collect ingredients, after that looting chests an bodies etc. before letting the player decide what to pick (for the sake of starting with the easiest, and closing step by step to the final). How to solve the problem of it getting too much stuff... well, maybe it should drop the oldest, newest, heaviest, or the most worthless item until it is not over encumbered anymore. This might bring in a new feature of it not actaly have a "companion share", but a set of options what it can give you, and what it can hold for you, therefore if it was ever to do anything with the stuff it loots, the only way to get those things would be to encumber it :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
