GirlGamer55
I never noticed it before because I never made potions until this play through. But there is a lack of salt and garlic. Now this doesn't make sense. You should be able to grow garlic just like you grow wheat. Same with some other foods that you can't seem to grow... Making salt should be easy too. Options are mining it or getting some sea water and letting it evaporate. I'm going to guess the mining option would be easiest, since we have mining animations in game. A easy way to do it would be to go into the ck, grab a ore vein, replace some textures, make it give you salt not gems or ore, place it somewhere in game or hell in a salt mine if you want. Simple. As for the garlic..it might need a new plant model but have it act the same way as all the other growing plants. This would be more useful if you have Hearthfire or are using a mod like farm everywhere.
hadoumastery
I completely agree, salt and garlic are valuable trade, and food items. Even by today's standards, and even more so back in the medieval times like Skyrim is placed in. And it's really an easy fix, just add more to a merchant, most likely alchemy merchants or general stores. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/25856 your request is fulfilled. GirlGamer55
Like I said in the pm, I wanted to work for the salt as in mining it. Just want people to know that adding it to a vendor list isnt what I meant. But again thank you for trying.
kalamadae
I think growing your own alchemy herbs would be good. Like purchasing Honeyside in Riften, you get your own garden, but once you harvest them, it doesnt come back. That was very disappointing
