Better Vampires broke night cloak (not sure why)

Alright, so i have been using better vampires for a long time now, and i just cant seem to figure out whats going on in this unique instance. Whenever i am a vampire lord and night cloak is active, it does absolutely no damage. The next thing i did was disable better vampires, went back into Skyrim and tested again. It worked fine now. So then i started wondering, and went to the troubleshooting website of better vampires. I then proceeded to follow the instructions for "clearing up the save". I went into game, reset all the mods variables, waited 24 hours, and saved a new game. Uninstalled the mod, went back into the game, created another new save. Re installed mod, loaded cleared save...and night cloak still not doing any damage. So then i went to the extreme step of disabling all mods, and then enabling better vampires. Night cloak still does not work. Useful information may include that i am in fact using a custom race, however have never had any issues with this with my other custom race's save file (which is also a vampire lord). Also i am using http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/10165, but i have disabled this mod as well when trying to fix it...so i have ruled it out as a problem as well. Anyways, any help would be greatly appreciated as i am stumped. :( Edited by deathkawa

I have quite the opposite problem. Perhaps it is not due to "Better Vampires", but I don't have any other vampire mods except some cosmetic stuff. Since I attained the rank of Oppidanus, whenever an enemy comes into view I am surrounded by a cloud of bats, my character starts dripping blood all over, the enemy takes damage and If I or my companions pile on melee damage the enemy will explode into gibs and there will be a pile of "ghostly remains" I have searched several times but i can't find any reference to this. I'm not even sure what mod is doing it. It is a very cool effect but forget about stealth kills and if you are not quick to feed there will be nothing left after the enemy explodes into crispy giblets.
