confused about permissions

Hey i was wondering if a mod author made an armor and i changed his armor around and wanted to post it on nexus, but they do not seem to be responding to any messages how do i get permission to post a new armor while giving them full credit for the original? Also this person cannot receive messages for some reason and does not appear to be active on the nexus...

Its simple, if they do not give permission, you do not post, your inability to get a response from them does not overwrite that. If they can not receive PM,s they inbox is probably full and you could try leaving a comment on their profile.

ok thanks.. also if they never respond or do anything for that matter for a loooong time, like for months, will i never be able to post anything? also this mod does not say do not use my stuff but it doesnt say u can use it either. Im not arguing but i would like to clearly understand

Again, the situation is you want to include someone else's work in a mod, and post the result here for others to use. And as micalov has already said, you can only do so after obtaining explicit permission from the original author.
