leotheEliteMajor117
I just accidentally pressed the "Uncheck all plugins" in FOMM when I was installing a new mod. Now I'm worried of playing New Vegas, I got it to press the "Check all plugins" again in FOMM but I'm still worried, I had a lot of mods and idk if all mod data would be lost, a whole ton of stuttering or crashes if I play fnv again after that. Is it safe if I accidentally pressed the Uncheck all plugins and then recheck all plugins in FOMM?
dubiousintent
That "check/uncheck" option is just selecting which plugins are "active" (meaning "get loaded" when the game starts) in your "load order". It should not "uninstall" them. The files should remain in the "Data" folder either way. Same applies to any "mod data" such as related asset files or configurations. Note that applies to FOMM and similar "old style" managers (and the vanilla game) that work with files directly in the "Data" folder. More modern managers (NMM, MO/MO2, Vortex) that work from the "empty Data folder" concept dynamically use such options to determine which plugins get "links" copied into the "Data" folder instead. The same basic idea still holds: the "installed" mod's files remain intact. Only which are "active" changes. -Dubious-
