I cannot be sure of who created an LE mod I have converted...

Good morning,

I have enhanced an LE mod I obtained from another site as a free download. I cannot be certain of the author. I have enhanced the character and would like to share while attributing all credit to those who created the components I assembled.

How do folks normally handle this in such a way to show respect and credit to the original artist, even if one has no means to identify or contact them?

I want to post the NPC for download on the Nexus, as it's an excellent piece of work. Any thoughts on this?

To that end I have hundreds of these. I can find most of the artists, so they aren't the issue. Any thoughts would be appreciated on sharing this on the Nexus attributing to the artist and taking no credit for myself.

Nexus rules are quite clear on this - no permission, don't upload.

https://help.nexusmods.com/article/28-file-submission-guidelines

- Submission of existing user-submitted content without obtaining permission from the original author(s) of said content is strictly prohibited.

- Proper credit to the original author(s) must be given unless the author(s) has/have specified that credit is not necessary. Please, be aware that the mere accreditation of an author is no substitute for receiving explicit permission to upload or modify someone else’s content.

OK, thanks - No problem. My absolute intent is to comply with the community rules, hence this post.

I've seen unofficial ports posted though, and that is why I had to ask.

A loss to the community, the work is wonderful. If anyone should be able to identify the artist and know how to contact them, here is the original link:
