GunNutMerc
Reloading uses up all the ammo in your current weapon's ammo count, instead of magically refilling spent bullets. For weapons that reload per bullet (Cowboy Repeater, .357 revolver, Lever action shotty, etc.), perhaps some sort of check can be done for the weapons that use magazines in their reload anims, and excluding the ones that don't? Just throwing out an idea for a new hardcore option. Edited November 15, 2019 by Spooderdude
dubiousintent
Have you seen "Manual Reload" by LoremIpsum? Or "Remember Ammo Count On Reload"" by Asterra? -Dubious-
GunNutMerc
EDIT: not reserve, got my definitions mixed up. For example, you shoot once with your fully loaded 10mm pistol, you still got eleven shots left in your magazine. You reload, and instead of using up one bullet from your inventory to replenish your magazine, it uses up 12. dubiousintent
Huh? The vanilla game (or at least with DarnUI) already does that. Current magazine count on the left, remaining inventory of the same ammo type on the right (e.g Ammo: 10/200 = 210 total). What it doesn't do is track unused rounds still in a magazine that was replaced. Reloading always gives you a full magazine and deducts that same amount from the inventory. -Dubious-
