Ok, I've been this week messing around with the esps and I have disabled several mods, including Interesting NPCs (I figured this may be the reason i would crash in falkreath but at this point i have no idea) and I'm still getting random freezes while outside, and ALSO my game crashes sometimes when I open menus (not all the time, but sometimes). So I figured that maybe the cause of my crash is because of my INI settings and not my load order. I don't know so I'll just post it here and maybe you with your knowdelge you will know if I have any setting that is problematic. Please help me out! I use BethIni so I suppose there shouldn't be anything weird but oh well. Purr4me
My test applications all use default ini's, MO picks those up and I use default profiles. The reason for that is to ensure a users saved game loads on a vanilla game setup, so when I attempt to purge data from those saved game files and return their product to them, the data is vanilla and clean from erroneous garbage caught within them. I look out for the user. I have that as my only preference. I use Dev versions of MO 2 from discord, non-public assemblies, while testing those products.Look at my profile, what you see is what you get. I'm really not a gamer, just a diagnostic practitioner. There CAN be conflicts involved with the ini files too if you modify them through the control app's.The issue to date is the mods built using F4SE code.If none of the data you use was built using that code? you have vanilla version mods. Engine and asset updates have occurred so those also need, require updating to the new er code through the Bethesda kit's and simply saved.I can't help you if you changed the vanilla standards through ini mod's. there is no way for me to do that. periodic crashes is most likely out of date plugins or bad materials that no longer work with the updates.I have found a lot of ported mods that are no longer valid in either of the games. Thats what I understood sorry english isn't my first language :( What can I do? I'm feeling very lost at the moment. What can I do? There MUST be a reason my game is not accepting crash fixes. (Since ironically crash fixes is actually what is causing my game to crash immediately). Do you have any other suggestion?
Purr4me
the correct process to solve a problem is to start from a fresh setup, you can accomplish that task "without" destroying your current setup IF you have the space.how it's done is your choice but there is always hope. The 1rst picture is to give you a physical IDEA as to how things can be done. You can use a fresh install of Mod organizer to an external or another location you make on your drive.----making sure you chose local and not global. That places the mod's folder within that installation location and isolates all the data your using. "IF YOU HAVE THE SPACE" Now, I am giving this advice in order for you to gain some knowledge of how things work.leave every thing you currently have alone, think clearly about what I am telling you. in a fresh setup, the only thing changing is the application controls. And then the mod installations, while your reinstalling the mod's your also monitoring the correct install processes and test running the data------but do not touch any configurations with in the new MO2 installation, and leave all ini settings to default /----learn while you work. Hello! I'ts been a long time. I left skyrim for a while but finally after some testing I realized that my mods were not the issue my game crashing when enabling crash fixes. I've decided to complete remove skyrim and I will reinstall it. After that, I will ONLY do the following to finally test if my game crashes again: 1. Reinstall Skyrim2. Install ONLY Skse, USLEEP, and Crash Fixes.3. See if any of my ESPs (Master Files or any other) are dirty and if needed, I'll clean them. I'll be using LOOT and ReClean Saver (Fallrim tools)4. Test Skyrim. I know I should've done this a long time ago but I really wanted to fix it without going through this hassle, but it has got to the point that my game is just unplayable by the amount of random crashes. Something had to be done. Thank you so much and I'll keep you informed. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- UPDATE 1: Ok so after trying the game and playing about roughly almost an hour with only SKSE, Usleep and crash fixes, everything worked perfectly. UPDATE 2: I attempted now to install the basic/essential mods along with my SAM (which is one of my must have mods) along with other ones like SKYUI, UI extensions, racemenu, xp32, etc. with a total of 44 esps. Besides SAM, there was no heavy script mod. Using alternate start mod, I choose one starting point, and in seconds my game crashed. So, good news is that now I can CONFIRM that the problem is in fact my mods. (even though I thought they werent). The only mod I thought could be causing this was SAM, so I decided to repeat the process without SAM, and guess what? SAM HAS BEEN THE CULPRIT ALL ALONG!!! But that really confuses me!! I've used SAM since the begging of my journey on Skyrim (2 years!), and now it suddenly decides to crash my game? I'm really confused why SAM is causing this NOW, and it didn't from the beginning. I'm happy I at last found out the real problem, but I am very upset SAM is the problem. I don't know if it's useful but this is my last papyrus log with SAM installed, right before crashing. https://drive.google.com/file/d/18q0ulaUZq22KUFAcj7fOj02MKjOMxo6w/view?usp=sharing Here is my current load order, so you can see the mods I installed. 0 0 Skyrim.esm 1 1 Update.esm 2 2 Dawnguard.esm 3 3 HearthFires.esm 4 4 Dragonborn.esm 5 5 Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch.esp 6 6 hdtHighHeel.esm 7 7 ApachiiHairMales.esm 8 8 ApachiiHair.esm 9 9 ApachiiHairFemales.esm 10 a OblivionHairPackAIO.esm 11 b High Poly Head.esm 12 c SexLab.esm 13 d HighResTexturePack01.esp 14 e HighResTexturePack02.esp 15 f HighResTexturePack03.esp 16 10 Unofficial High Resolution Patch.esp 17 11 FNIS.esp 18 12 FNIS_PCEA2.esp 19 13 SkyUI.esp 20 14 UIExtensions.esp 21 15 RaceMenu.esp 22 16 RaceMenuPlugin.esp 23 17 AddItemMenuLE.esp 24 18 Brawl Bugs CE.esp 25 19 XPMSE.esp 26 1a ethereal_elven_overhaul.esp 27 1b dD - Enhanced Blood Main.esp 28 1c dD-Larger Splatter Size.esp 29 1d TheEyesOfBeauty.esp 30 1e SummonBCat.esp 31 1f KS Hairdo's.esp 32 20 LindsMerEyes.esp 33 21 ShadowSpellPackage.esp 34 22 Dark Dungeons for Skyrim-Dawnguard-Dragonborn.esp 35 23 KS Hairdos - HDT.esp 36 24 LovelyHairstylesCE.esp 37 25 Holiday Gift Hairdos.esp 38 26 KXHairs.esp 39 27 [bDO] Warrior Hair Pack.esp 40 28 TAotB - New Facial Hairs.esp 41 29 NIOVHH.esp 42 2a SAM - Dawnguard Patch.esp 43 2b SAM - Shape Atlas for Men.esp 44 2c Alternate Start - Live Another Life.esp UPDATE 3: Ok update. I tried several times and I did not crash in the first minutes like I did last time. I'll play for an hour to see if my game crashes, but as of now I think I fixed it.
