Racial Dietary needs Mod Idea

So, Have You Played Starbound

You Ever Use a Mod Called "Frackin' Universe?"

 

No!

yES?!?

Well, there was an addition to the Survival system of the Original Starbound, where Certain races (Even some Custom Races) needed Certain Dietary needs, like the Glitch (A race of Robots) needed to eat oil and "Nuts". I always Thought it was Weird that In survival Mods all Races ate the Same thing. An Argonian Eating a Leek or Potato.

 

So make it an Addition to Mods Like iNeed or RND.

 

Ideas:

Dietary Needs need to be encouraged, and Defying the needs and Eating something that Your Race Can't Digest without Trouble, or at all, needs to be punished Severely.

 

So Here's My Ideas

Argonians:

Stomach of Black Marsh

Able to Eat Raw meat, Slight Bonuses to Health, Stamina, and/or Magica.

(Bonuses type and Magnitude Based on Danger of Creature in Question)

Lasts for one hunger Stage

 

The Earth's Wrath.

Eating Veggies gives you 95% Chance to Get sick, -60 Stamina Debuff

Lasts for one hunger Stage

 

Mixed meals like Beef Stew and Chicken Dumplings have no effect.

 

 

Khajiits:

Sea-Eaters Benefits:

Slight Bonuses to Health, Stamina, and/or Magica for eating any kind of seafood.

(Bonuses type and Magnitude Based on Danger of Creature in Question)

Lasts for one hunger Stage

 

Fussy Felines.

Veggies Satisfies you 20% less, -25 Stamina Debuff

Lasts for one hunger Stage

 

Mixed meals like Beef Stew and Chicken Dumplings have no effect.

 

 

Dunmer:

Ashes yield.

Veggies Satisfies you 20% more, +25 Stamina Buff

Lasts for one hunger Stage

 

Meat is For N'wahs

Meat Satisfies you 40% less, -75 Magica Debuff

Lasts for one hunger Stage

 

Mixed meals like Beef Stew and Chicken Dumplings have no effect.

 

 

Altmer:

Fancy Foods Fill:

Baked Goods and Sweets Satisfies you 40% More, +75 Magica Buff

Lasts for one hunger Stage

 

Disgusting Commoners Foods :

Meat and Veggies Satisfy you 40% less, -55 Magica Debuff

Lasts for one hunger Stage

 

 

Bosmer:

Flesh to Flesh:

Meat Satisfies you 40% meat, +20 Magica Buff

Lasts for one hunger Stage

 

Betrayal of the Land:

Veggies don't Satisfy you at all, -90 Health, Magica, and Stamina Debuff

Lasts for one hunger Stage

 

Mixed meals like Beef Stew and Chicken Dumplings Apply the "Betrayal of the Land" Effect.

 

 

Men:

Everymen, no Buffs or Debuffs unless eating raw flesh.

 

 

All:

Lab Skeever:

That's What you get for testing ingredients on yourself

All Food Satisfies you 50% less, 30% chance for you to not keep your food, nullifying your foods Satisfactory trait.

 

Raw Food:
Take The iNeed or Frostfall Consequences for eating raw meat and apply them to all but Specifically Stated races.

 

Narcotics:
If Using RND, Apply Stats and effects Here

If Using iNeed, Apply Stats and effects Here

Addiction:

I Honestly wish there was an addiction System Like in Fallout, So why not throw my dice. You need Your Fix if you're an Addict?

 

Repeated uses Lead to Higher Chances of Addiction.

Alcohol:

10% chance to get addicted, +3% each Use

 

Minor:

-20% Magica and Stamina

 

Moderate:

-40% Magica and Stamina, -10 to One-Handed

 

Severe:

-10% Health, -60% Magica and Stamina, -20 to One-Handed, -10 to Two-Handed

 

Sugar:

7% chance to get addicted, +5% each Use

 

Minor:

-15%, Health and Magica, Spells have Very small Chance to Short out

 

Moderate:

-15% Stamina, -35% Health and Magica, Spells have Moderate Chance to Short out

 

Severe:

-30% Stamina, -55% Health and Magica, Spells have Great Chance to Short out

 

Skooma-Related Narcotics:

20% chance to get addicted, +15% each Use

 

Minor:

-40% Health, Magica, and Stamina, -5 to all skills

 

Moderate:

-60% Health, Magica, and Stamina, -15 to all skills, Extremely Rare Paralysis

 

Severe:

-80% Health, Magica, and Stamina, -25 to all skills, Extremely Rare Paralysis
