awenonian
I played Fallout 3, and one thing that I thought was really cool is that when you sold someone something it actually went somewhere accessible, it wasn't like in Skyrim where the chest was stuck in the ground and they basically just created the items from thin air and removed your money from existence. Like even if you kill them there was no way to get anything you traded to them or your money back. In Fallout 3, there were merchant chests you could get to if you had the key, and the merchants dropped the key on death. I think it might be better if you could pickpocket the key with very little chance to succeed, but still. IDEASo the idea was this, it's easier to do for non-caravan merchants, but basically you just take the merchant chests out of the ground and put an unpickable lock on them, then put the key as an on death drop for the merchants or in the inventory with a low chance to pick pocket (i don't know the limits of the creation kit) and do that for like all the merchants in the game. EXECUTIONI realize that would take a long time, but you could start with whiterun, which has a few merchants, then go to the other cities and just keep going until you got all of the ones in the city at least. If that's where you stop that's fine with me but you could keep going for other people. Im thinking that you may also put a satchel near the fire of the kajiit caravan fires where people would watch it and then do that for them, but i don't know how hard that would be. Thanks in advance if anyone does this, I think it would be really cool.
