anjenthedog
I don't have a "recipe" but can offer basic advise that might help. If it doesn't, my apologies... didn't mean to waste your time... (personally, although I installed it a while ago, I ended up removing it during a Skyrim update and never reinstalled.) (PS> if the following sounds dumbed down or you already know this stuff, I apologize up front. I figure it's better to presume ignorance than to presume expertise) OSA must be installed before OSex. Check and follow all the requirements on the requirements tabs of each component... AND it's always a good thing to check the requirement mods (also called "dependencies" ) for their own dependencies... Sometimes a successful mod installation requires not only installing the files it says it requires but files that the files it says it needs need themselves. example: Mod A requires mods D and E - for the sake of discussion, you have neither D or E installedMod D requires Mods J, P, and R install mods J, P, and R (in this case, J, P, and R have no requirements of their own, or they're already met by your current installed mod list) Then and only then, install D install E (you could have installed this first, but whatever. it has no dependencies, no "requirements", so as long as its installed before A, all's good) Then and only then, install A If OSA requires any mods you don't currently have installed, install them (and any of their requirements) before OSA. Then move to Osex. See what its requirements are. Install any of its requirements *before you install Osex. So. Install all the prerequisite mod files OSA requires first. (its requirements from its requirements tab)Then install OSAThen install any additional prerequisite mods that OSex needs (its requirements from its requirements tab)then install Osex. As I recall, I used Vortex to manage the download and installation. I have no idea how to do it using any other manager. It was easy. Make sure you visit the mod pages for both OSA and OSex and look for the images of the controls cheat sheet. copy them print them. it all works off your number pad (PC) and takes a bit of getting used to. (or did for me anyway.) Make sure you install the SE versions of all involved files. LE versions tend to cause problems Lastly, this is something I generally do almost religiously when installing a new mod... Check the "posts" tab of each of the two mods for extra info before installing. It's also a great place to get mod specific assistance as well. Often the best place.
