I've seen flying mods, levitation spells, etc that completely missed the mark of this niche desire. I've seen mods that tried to use the animation sets of dragon priests for example, but had to use the dragon priest model form to do it, which has its own problems. I think I saw one mod with custom hover animations, but it was unfinished and abandoned, as most of these mods tend to become... So my post is less about requesting it to be done and more about a question asking why it has proven to be apparently impossible? Is it just beyond difficult and not worth the effort and will never be perfect? Or is it straight up impossible due to the engine and internal mechanics and whatnot?
