Adipose Posted November 21, 2019 Share Posted November 21, 2019 Over the years, I've noticed that modders often put up a new npc and label "him" or "her" as nicer looking. I feel it incumbent on me to observe that whether someone or some thing is "nicer looking" is strictly dependent on the eye of the beholder. Frex, I play as realistically as I can. That means I see Skyrim as being a hostile, forbidding place in which to live. Survival is very difficult. Having enough to eat could well be a daily challenge. Going out into the world in order to acquire food or materials with which to make clothing and items to sell for much needed cash would be fraught with danger. That effort could well result in death or disfigurement of the npc. Therefore, I see the effort needed to simply survive from day to day as resulting in npcs that are very unlikely to have much in the way of fat reserves and often scarred or maimed in some way. So, nicer looking is not particularly compatible with realistic...at least from my viewpoint. As for the rest of you, see them as you will.
